I'm in love with you If only you knew Want it Want you to want me Andt sometimes When I'm on my own Gigging far from home It gets so lonely I realize that I need something else Other than this It's you I miss Oh what a lonely lifetime! Away from you Find things to do That help me Help me forget you But sometimes When I'm on my own Gigging far from home It gets so lonely I realize that I need something else Other than this It's you I miss Oh what a lonely lifetime! (Lyrics by Richard Sinclair, music by Dave Stewart & Richard Sinclair)

about

A 1975 sampler of Virgin Records artists, including an early recording of "Your Majesty Is Like A Cream Donut" by Hatfield and The North. This double-LP set has not been reissued on CD.

This recording was made at the same time as the single "Let's Eat (Real Soon)" and "Fitter Stoke Has A Bath" (October 1973). While the single was included as bonus tracks on the CD reissue of the first Hatfield album (in 1989), this version of "Your Majesty" remains otherwise unreleased.

By the way, the single version of "Fitter Stoke" was expanded and re-recorded for Hatfield's second LP, "The Rotters' Club" (Jan-Feb. 1974).
