about

A walking tour of Canterbury, including a search for Richard Sinclair's birthplace. The video features lots of beautiful scenery and a lot of vertigo-inducing camerawork.

Have you been to Canterbury, Birthplace of The Canterbury Scene? Canterbury is the birthplace of a prog rock style named Canterbury Scene. This style, born during the late 60s, mixes patterns of jazz, folk, and rock and it is often decorated with gentle sounds of flutes and saxophones. The Canterbury Scene was born with the band The Wilde Flowers and it was followed by Caravan, Soft Machine, Matching Mole, Egg, Spirogyra, Gong, and more, even developing Non-British bands all across Europe. Canterbury is a parish town in the county of Kent. It is surrounded by The River Stour. Besides being rich in terms of religiosity and culture, it is also in terms of something we all love, Music!
