about

Camel
De Vereeniging, Nijmegen, Netherlands
12th November 1978

Aud, B+, 90min

Nice recording with an unusual setlist running order, with the concert beginning with Lunar Sea, more commonly played as an encore. From the recording, this seems authentic, as there is no obvious tape edit indicating a mixup in the editing.

This is a "recording of indeterminate origin," i.e. a bootleg. If you buy it from me it'll be the first time anyone in the band has seen a quid from it.

Thanks to Joerg (Propylaen2001) for the tapes

A deep, low voice, a talent for memorable melodies few can match, plus an imaginative and fluid technique on the bass and guitar. ... more
